Passionflower is famous for its calming and sedative properties but also acts as a general catalyst, improving the bioavailability of other ingredients. It also helps to increase GABA (Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid), a neurotransmitter which decreases the activity of some brain cells, resulting in a state of relaxation. Alongside as another primary ingredient, Skullcap has the unique benefit of quieting an overactive mind and racing thoughts, while also settling the stomach.
